Strait Art Gallery Review

The Straits Art Museum is a folk art museum established by Director Chen himself. The first floor mainly displays the curator's personal collection of various art collections related to the sea, such as coral (especially red coral), willow carving, etc., and the second floor is mainly calligraphy and painting. Accommodation is also provided, this should be the only place to stay in Aojiao Village, but you must book at least a week in advance. A few steps in front of the art museum are to the beach, and you can see Huyu and Longyu opposite. In addition, the Guanhailou Hotel next to it is a good dining place, the ingredients are fresh and the price is fair.

Fisherman poet Xu Haiqin, fisherman painter Chen Jieding, fisherman sculptor Shen Xixuan is known as the "cultural man" of the fishing village of Aojiao. The sea carved their faces and wisdom, and the waves brought their creation inspiration.

This is a private collection, the curator surnamed Chen. It is mainly a collection of calligraphy and paintings and strange stones and root carving corals, etc., and the collection is still rich. There are several rooms on the 2.3 floor in the museum for friends to stay, of which there is a triple room balcony on the third floor facing the sea, where you can enjoy tea and chat. It is said that Shu Xuancaifeng is staying here.

Inside, there are various artworks made by artists on both sides of the Strait, including pottery art. There are also various artworks made with bark, glass, and ceramics, which are dazzling to see, and they are not listed one by one.
