Taoyuan Peak Review

Taoyuanjian is most famous for 10,000 mu of azaleas. It is located on the top of Taoyuan Jianshan (the highest point is 1438 meters) in Chashuping Village, Gaoping Township, north of Suichang County. Rhododendrons naturally grow on the high mountain of 1200-1400m, and they last for more than 30 miles. The azaleas bloom around the beginning of May, and a sea of flowers is ten miles around, known as 10,000 mu of azaleas. But the flowering period is only about two weeks. Because other trees are naturally growing on the mountain, the growth and viewing of rhododendrons are affected. Tea Shuping Village is about 60 kilometers away from the county seat. Take the county bus to Gaoping (1 hour and 1 shift, about 1 hour and 40 minutes by car, 17 yuan), get off at Chashuping Village, then go to Taoyuan Village on foot or take a taxi (3.5 kilometers, 10 yuan/person, 5 people departure, 50 yuan chartered), there are farmhouses in Chashuping Village or Taoyuan Village; No tickets are required to go to Gaoping Wanmu Rhododendron Scenic Area, but there is a charge for self-driving parking. Taoyuan Village is about 1100 meters above sea level. From here, the starting point to Taoyuan Jianshan Mountain is more than 300 meters away. It takes more than an hour to walk a single trip, and it takes about 9,000 steps back and forth. Every May, there are many people who come here to see azaleas, usually by car, travel friends and photography lovers. There are also many people who come here to escape the summer heat in the farmhouse. The flower situation in 2018 is obviously not as good as in previous years. Due to a cold current of azaleas seedlings in Qingming, I hope that the prosperity will be restored in the coming year.

What, just in time for Yingshanhong, that is, the time of azaleas blooming, so I found a route that is said to be the least possible way to see the azaleas. As a result, I climbed a Jinmao Building back and forth. I really admire those hiking lovers. You can climb the mountain for 8 hours, but finally saw Yingshanhong. I am very pleased. By the way, the sister of the family on the mountainside said that she would not go climbing, because she lived in a place that overlooked the red mountains, but this year's opening was not as prosperous as in previous years. In previous years, the ridge was a rainbow. It was beautiful to think about.

The azaleas in Taoyuanjian are beautiful when they bloom. During the May Day holiday, I went to Zhangzhou Green onion Lake to enjoy the flowers. It was a pity that I couldn’t walk from the green onion Lake to Taoyuanjian. If the physical strength is good, I should go to the two places to cross.

From Taoyuanjian to green lake, all the way on the ridge, the view is extremely wide, the peaks are like gathering, the waves are like anger, it is not when the azaleas are in full bloom, it is also worth a trip.
