First time here, the road was not very well recognized but we followed the flow of people and finally found it. From the ground, it didn't seem so difficult to walk, but it turned out that was not the case. But the scenery from the highest point of Malibu and the sea are very beautiful, which is enough to comfort us on the road. This is a good way to spend Christmas! Free parking is also available outside the nearby park.

I first came to Temescal and didn't expect that much at first! There were a few trails, and my daughter and I took the "Ring Road", a sign that said it was 2.8 miles. The wild flowers were beautiful and I was pleasantly surprised that there were so many blooming flowers. The top can see incredible views, the downtown Los Angelses and Palisades Building. Interestingly, on the upside we see green trees and the downside turns into dwarf shrubs. I look forward to going to Temescal Park again.

My boyfriend and I love moving and we wanted to find a good place to hike and enjoy the city. All local Uber drivers and service staff advised us to come here as it was closest to us and walking quite fast. After reaching the top via the waterfall trail and down the sunset trail, given the height you reach, I can say the hike was “quick” but it still took about two hours to get through. Need to bring a lot of water, sunscreen and a hat as we mostly walk in the sun and it's hot. But the scenery makes it all worth it!* Reminder: I'm afraid of snakes, there are signs about rattlesnakes everywhere. Thankfully I never saw snake holes, but I did see snake holes on the ground and some snake skins. Just a warning to friends who are afraid of snakes.
