Tenement Museum Review

The immigrant apartment museum is relatively small, in an old house. The house is old. But the maintenance is very good, the museum is also very beautiful, it shows us the history of American immigrants.

The Lower East Side of New York used to be an industrial area. It became a famous immigration area because of its low cost of living and many jobs. Now it's a new financial district, with a lot of banks, insurance companies and the headquarters of law firms. And this apartment Museum retains the memory of that year, showing the old apartment buildings of immigrants. Visiting this museum makes one wonder how tremendous the changes of history have been.

The East Side of New York used to be both an industrial and an immigration area. Because of its low cost of living and many jobs, people from all over the world often come to New York and settle there. Now it's a new financial district, where most of the big banks, insurance companies, law firms, investment banks and so on have moved their headquarters.

We visited the museum and thought that the Migrant Apartment Museum could show you the living conditions of various immigrant families in different historical periods. Learning history in this way is very interesting, and I like the food tour in museums.
