Thames River Sightseeing Review

I like to sit in the gardens of St Thomas’ hospital that overlook the Thames. from there you can see the Houses of Parliament. even better now that the Elizabeth tower is without scaffolding again!

if you want to avoid a crowd, walk along the River Thames and enjoy the sightseeing from the Parliament, London Eye, Battersea Power Station, the MI5 headquarters etc. my favourite spot is to just look at the Parliament at night! it has a luminous view and it reflects on the river! It’s simply stunning!

went with my son in summer and had the best day out even we are local. best thing to check first is weather. only choose the blue sky and preferably sunny

The boat of the City cruise is two floors. The second deck is more suitable for sightseeing. We have the sun on the day and feel that it is not very cold. The wind is a bit cold at night. There is heating on the first floor. The 24-hour on-the-go ticket is not much more expensive than a single ticket. It is very cost-effective. We went from Westminster to Greenwich, back to Westminster from Greenwich, took the night view time, and took the boat to London Tower Bridge. Sunny, sunset, night view Tower Bridge, worth it. There are also Uber boats on the river, single-story, fast, and many people on board, more like a commuter boat on the Thames.
