The fall of Ephesus was not destroyed by an instantaneous volcano like Pompeii, although some people call it Pompeii in Asia Minor, but it is clearly not the case. Ephesus was once a port city, and all Eurasian commerce was to go here, but as the climate and currents changed, the port was blocked by the increasingly silted sediment. There was no good dredging technology, manpower was irresistible, and the bustling towns that were once like the sun and the sky were gradually declining until people left and no longer returned. The most beautiful building in the ancient city of Ephesus is the Serthus Library, the facade of the gables is so far preserved perfectly, and there are four statues representing virtue, namely kindness, thought, learning and wisdom.
