The Chicago Theatre, in downtown Chicago State St., is near the metro stations - "Lake Station on the Red Line of the Metro, Brown Line of the Metro, and State Station on the Orange Line. The Chicago Theatre has the theatre style of 1920s and 1930s. The tall "Chicago" plaque of the theatre is particularly noticeable. The interior is gorgeous and the hall is luxurious. During the day, when there are no performances, you can buy tickets (about $15) to enter the theatre. Staff will take you to the backstage of the theatre, past celebrity dressing rooms and theatres.
