The Royal stables are next to the Queen's Gallery, where a variety of royal transports are displayed. Today, the carriage is still a must-have in royal celebrations. The carriages have been around for many years and have been restored many times.

Nice little tour. We came here after a tour of the palace we wouldn't come here specifically just for this only if you are in the area. It's still very nice for children especially that you can climb some of the exhibits. It is highly recommended to order the tickets in advance as they are not that expensive.

Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace is responsible for all road travel arrangements for The King and members of the Royal Family, from horse-and-carriage to car and from livery to harness. See behind the scenes at a real working stables in the heart of London, steeped in royal history, and marvel at the iconic 260-year-old Gold State Coach, used at State occasions such as Queen Elizabeth II's Coronation in 1953, the Platinum Jubilee in 2022 and King Charles III Coronation in 2023
