Qiding Imperial Mausoleum is the only imperial mausoleum we visited. It is located 15 kilometers south of Shunhua City, near the Xiangjiang River. It is said to be the most beautiful of all the Imperial Mausoleums in Vietnam. It is the mausoleum of Ruan Dynasty Hongzong Ruan Fuxin, also known as Ying Mausoleum. The later emperors of Ruan Dynasty were puppets, and Qiding was one of them. It took 11 years for him to build mausoleums when he was in power. Because he had been to France to study abroad, the architectural style of the mausoleum is a combination of East and West, Chinese, Vietnamese and French characteristics, which is very elegant. The interior of the tomb can not be photographed, and its gorgeous color and artistic attainment are excellent. The floor was covered with colorful glazed tiles. On the wall were huge murals of imported glazed and mosaic, and the ceiling was carved with Panlong Xiangyun. This mosaic combination of colored glazed porcelain has both oriental charm and Western art. It is very beautiful and luxurious. It is rare. We are amazed.
