The largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia is flat and broad, 500 km long and more than 110 km wide. It crosses Cambodia from the northwest to the southeast, and meets the Mekong River through Phnom Penh. It is the "lake of life" of the Cambodian people. In addition, she is known as the “famous overseas” water family, a large number of stateless refugees, who have lived in temporary shelters on the lake for decades. Some Cambodians believe that Vietnam deliberately stayed there in case of future encroachment. The number of people is difficult to estimate, and they live a life of hardship, whether because of war or whatever.
