Trinity Monastery is located in Sergeyev (Zagorsk city) 71 km northeast of Moscow. Trinity Monastery is one of the oldest monasteries in Russia, also known as Troyica Monastery. It is located on a high post next to the town. The monastery of the Three Saints of Sergei has a church and ancillary complex of various forms that have been converted and expanded over the centuries through various dynasties. Includes: the Trinity Church, the Church of the Holy Spirit of Dukhovsky, the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin, the Pope's Palace and the Church of Smolensk (1748), as well as the Lent, the Bell Tower, the Charity Hospital, etc. In 1993, the monastery was listed on the World Heritage List.
