Umayyad mosque is one of the most famous Islamic and historical sites that tourists must visit in their journey to Syria. each section of the mosque tells a story, it's walls and high ceiling are carved with old wooden sculptures. A must visit

Yomaya Grand Mosque, located in the old urban area of Damascus, is the oldest and most famous mosque in Syria. It is the landmark of Damascus and the holy place in the Middle East. There is a big square in front of the mosque.

I've been to several mosques, and this is always the best. Through the long and bustling open-air market, I came to this mosque, and for a moment I felt the utmost peace and tranquility. There is a lot of background noise inside the mosque.

At night, the minaret of the Yomaya Grand Mosque was looked at by the green light. It was very beautiful, quiet and elegant.
