The University of Havana, founded in 1721, is the oldest and largest university in Cuba and the premier institution of higher learning in Latin America. Now, there are 15 departments and 14 research centers, including many fields such as economics, natural sciences, humanities and other disciplines, a total of 25 majors, the number of students is about 6,000. The statue of Alma Mater, the “God of Mothers” of Cuba, is the hallmark of the University of Havana, we went straight into the school, no one stopped us, it was beautiful, and it was full of European-style buildings of Roman columns.
