Oxford, or Oxford for short, is one of the world's top public universities located in Oxford, UK. Founded in 1167, it is the oldest university in the English-speaking world and the second oldest existing institution of higher education in the world. It is recognized as one of the world's top institutions of higher education. Oxford University is one of the world's leading universities with great reputation and influence. Unlike other universities, Oxford University integrates the city with the university, and the street runs through the campus. Not only does the University have no gates and walls, but it also has no official signs. Oxford has a central school (including school and Department Libraries and science laboratories), 38 colleges and seven Permanent private apartments (PPHs). These colleges are not just dormitories, but essentially responsible for undergraduate and graduate teaching. Some colleges only accept graduate students. These are usually new colleges established in the past century, such as Wolfson College. And there is a college that doesn't recruit students at all. That's All Souls College. Oxford produced 11 kings, 6 British kings, 47 Nobel laureates from at least seven countries, 53 presidents and prime ministers from 19 countries, including 25 British prime ministers (13 from the Church College), 12 saints, 86 archbishops and 18 cardinals.
