The University of the Philippines is located on the northern outskirts of Manila and is the principal university of the Philippines, the center of the country's arts and sciences. The University of the Philippines was founded in 1908 and was founded at the beginning of the school only the Academy of Fine Arts and the Academy of Agriculture, and originally enrolled only 67 students. After more than 90 years of development, there are now 56 colleges in six independent branches, with more than 46,000 students in the school.
