The Tara River Bridge, located in the Tara River Canyon in Montenegro, was ordered to blow up the Tara Bridge by engineers who led the former southern guerrillas to stop the advance of German mechanized forces during World War II. Later, the engineers were arrested and sacrificed, unable to see the liberation of Yugoslavia. The famous former South movie Bridge, and the song "Ah, Goodbye to Friends", became a collective memory of people in the 1950s and 1960s.
