The Vasa Shipwreck Museum on Zoo Island was a stunning shock. The first time I knew Stockholm's name when I was a child was in the game of the Great Navigation Age. The world's only well-preserved wreck of the 17th century seemed to have seen the early morning of August 1628, the busy sailors on the deck, the ambitious chief officer, the commanding power of Captain and history, which was full of admiration and awe.
