Verona Arena Review

A classical arena, not a Colosseum of course. Very well preserved. Tickets are a pricey one and at the end of the day we didn’t pay for the Placido Domingo show, but the arena itself.

The arena might not be as famous as the Colosseo but it is actually a really stunning piece of architecture! In fact is was build even before the colosseo and it also has been place for traditional games and shows in ancient times. For sure it is worth a tour when visiting the beautiful city of Verona. the ticket is 10 euro and it is free on the first Sunday of every month.tip: if you can choose the date of your visit, make sure you don't go when there are shows scheduled for the night (arena is also a theathre now) because they will cover the whole court with stage and seats and you will stay pay full ticket price.

It should be an arena that existed in ancient Rome and has now become a performance venue. The arena is in the center of Verona's old town, and basically no tourists will miss it. Sitting at the top of the stands and watching this arena, it feels very majestic.

The theater part of this historic site is filled with many things to see for all ages. Come see a show and explore the at night for great photos.

A sort of miniature coliseum especially if you've seen the one in Rome. Nonetheless still an imposing structure in the city and very nice to marvel at.
