The cathedral is being rebuilt. Compared with Anastasia, the model is smaller and less gorgeous. One third of the cathedral is covered by scaffolding and can not be visited. There are excavations showing old Roman ruins. Visitors have free voice interpreters. The ceiling of the cathedral is very delicate and can be carefully viewed with telescopes.
