Victoria Review

We came to the famous Victoria when we traveled in Vancouver. It is very prosperous. In Canada, where there are few people, it should be the most crowded. Here we also met children from Shaolin Temple martial arts school on the streets to praise and promote Chinese martial arts.

Victoria City is quite interesting. This ancient city has a very rich history. The style of the city is also very simple. You can see a lot of foreigners here. The buildings are very thick. You can visit it slowly.

Set on a hilltop, Victoria Castle is an ancient stone city full of Mediterranean flair. When the sun is west, the yellow lights illuminate the narrow alleys of the ancient city. It is simply a place where the protagonists must get lost in the mythical stories heard in childhood. Everywhere is full of mystery, very, very fun.

Victoria means "Victoria City" and is also known in Malta as Rabat (the name of the old city center), the capital of Gozo, the second largest island, with a population of more than 7,000. The area around the town is located on a hill near the center of the island, and has been settled since the Neolithic period. Victoria was named by the British government at the request of Bishop Pieterro Pace, the Bishop of Gozo, on June 10, 1887, on the 50th anniversary of Queen Victoria's accession to the throne. It is commonly known as Rabat, Gozo, to distinguish it from the town of Rabat on the main island of Malta. Standing on the Victoria Castle overlooking, you can see the dome of St George's Cathedral in the heart of Victoria.

The island capital of Gozo, renamed Victoria in 1887 by Rabat, was crowned by Queen Victoria. The most famous of the city is the Citadel Castle on the top of the hill. The castle was built in the late Middle Ages and was used as a base and refuge in the event of an attack by foreign enemies after it was occupied by the Order in 1565.
