Get lost in the streets of the old town. In the hot summer day, it is fresh there. You will find lots of restaurants, bars and shops. The atmosphere is really nice. You have to go there.

One of the most beautiful old towns in Europe! Be sure not to miss Place Massena, Promenade des Anglais and Jardin Albert 1er. Full of great restaurants!

This is the best place in Nice apart from the beach, and is where I recommend spending the bulk of your time unless you have specific plans in mind. I know I've said this many times, but Nice is so Italian (moreso than French!)—after one stroll through the Old City, I think you'll agree with me.

Absolutely loved this part of Nice, also known as "Old Town". If you can stay closer to this part of the city make sure you do so, it's filled with extremely narrow alleyways jam packed with aritisinal stores, coffee shops and amazing restaurants and bars. It feels like an amazing escape and so easy to get lost here. An absolute must for any Nice visit.

Nice old town is really worthy of the name, the name the sense that gives a person is old enough, if there is no shuttle tourists, he should be quiet in a great mess, here no beauty, no strange happened, everything was quiet.
