Centuries have been an important church for Catholics. Many major events in Lithuanian history have been linked to it. On the hill wall of the front of the church stands three statues, with a cross in the middle of Santa Ana, on the right is St. Cazimiras, on the left is St. Stanislav. Next to the cathedral is the 52-meter-high clock tower, a watch tower for the 13th to 17th century castle, with 17 clocks in memory.
