The Wawel Royal Castle (Zamek Królewski na Wawelu) is a castle residency. It's located in centre of Kraków, Poland. The castle, is one of the largest in Poland and represents nearly all architectural styles of medieval, renaissance and baroque periods.What is interesting, Wawel is the first UNESCO World Heritage Site in the world. 5/5

The castle has long been the residence of the Polish royal family and is one of the national symbols of Poland. Since 1930, the castle has been converted to a museum. The castle is one of the top art museums in Poland. The museum's collection of Oriental and Ottoman art is also second to none in Poland.

Definitely a must see when on your next trip to Krakow. It's also near the old Town so pretty easy to get to.

Just in the center of Krakow, located on the banks of the Visva River, it is really beautiful, although not big, but it is worth visiting, with many ancient buildings around it form the cultural core of Krakow's old capital.

Pretty castle located atop a hill. It houses beautiful historic buildings and offers panoramic views of the city. A great castle complex.
