Willet-Holthuysen Museum Review

The Wheelhotoson Museum is a stunning and luxurious canal house with art and antiques from a couple (Abraham Willet and Louisa Holthuysen). They died in 1895 and left a large collection to the city of Amsterdam (they had no children). It was a really amazing collection.

Very good place, worth recommending, come again next time

The old house was in its prime in the 19th century, with a famous blue living room and a beautiful and wide back garden

The Amu Canal takes one of the three residential museums with free museum cards. Voice explanation 1 Euro (Museum Card is unavoidable), there is no Chinese, but the explanation is more detailed, comprehensive, visit or recommend the purchase of voice guide. The small rooms facing the garden are all good.

In fact, there are two 1819th century houses on the canal side, van Loon and Geelvinck-Hinlopen, but if you want to feel the living conditions of the rich at that time, it’s good to go there~ Because I have a museum card, I go for free, I don’t know how the price is.
