Xiachuan Island is located in the southwest of Taishan City, located on the west side of the Pearl River Estuary, which belongs to Taishan City, Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province. The terrain of Xiachuan Island is small at both ends, large in the middle, 12 kilometers wide in the East and west, 23 kilometers long in the South and north, with a total area of 98.685 square kilometers. Xiaguan Island is located in the Zhuhai Delta with the islands in the southeastern region of Zhuhai. It looks to the east at Zhuhai Economic Zone. Hong Kong and Macao are 12 nautical miles from the western part of Zhuhai, 87 nautical miles from Hong Kong and 58 nautical miles from Macau, 12 nautical miles from international waterways, close to China and Southeast Asian countries'maritime corridors, and 4 nautical miles from Zhanjiang and Hainan Island in China in the West and Taishan City in the north.
