Xumi Fushou Temple Review

The temple of Sumi Fushou is the sixth Panchen, the tenth Panchen and the current eleventh Panchen. Therefore, the locals are called the Panchen Palace. Behind the Mountain Resort, adjacent to the Putuo Zongcheng Temple, together form the "Potala • Palace Scenic Area", and sell a joint ticket for 80 yuan. After visiting Puning Temple, you can also walk for 20 minutes to the Temple of Sumi Fushou. Not far away, these imperial temples and the buildings with stories are more worth visiting. According to a friend, Qianlong 60th birthday time had called to invite the VI Panchen to Beijing to celebrate his birthday. Panchen did not make a trip due to other reasons, so when Qianlong 70th birthday, the VI Panchen took the initiative to enter Beijing to worship the birthday in advance. The Qianlong emperor was of course very happy, so he specially modeled Zhabu in Shigatse, Tibet. The temple was built by Lun Temple, which is of high specification, so it is also called the small Tashilunbu Temple. It is said that in history, the sixth Panchen led more than 10,000 people to the birthday party from Lhasa Wanli to Beijing, which lasted a year and a month. Since the emperor's birthday did not arrive, he first went to this temple of Sumi Fushou to live and preach for more than 100 days, and then died in Beijing from illness, and did not return to Tibet. After entering the temple of Sumi Fushou, I personally feel that it is not normal with other temples. It is worth taking time to see, especially the Miaogao Temple and the glazed Wanshou Tower. The golden roof of Miaogao Temple is especially worth seeing. The whole golden roof is all gold, and there are dragons around. The northernmost mountain is a green octagonal seven-story glazed pagoda, called Wanshou Pagoda, the tower body is built with green glazed brick, the tower top is covered with yellow glazed tiles, this pagoda structure is beautiful, it is carrying the green mountains, tower towering, straight to the sky, the tower is seven floors, symbolizing Qianlong 70 lives. The Wanshou Tower is the highest point of the temple of Sumi Fushou, indicating that the imperial power is supreme.
