Yiyuan Garden Review

Mr. Rao Zongxuan is a famous master of Chinese studies and a wonderful talent. He not only has a deep knowledge of Oracle, Chu Xuanxuan, Poetry, Art, Local Chronicles, etc., but also has a brilliant talent in the creation of calligraphy and painting. As a senior professor at the University of Hong Kong, he and Professor Ji Xianlin of Peking University are also known as "North Ji Nanrao". He is a generation of masters! Chaozhou Liyuan is the Rao Zongxuan Academic Hall, located at the foot of the ancient city Xiashuimen, is a large courtyard where the growth of the master of national studies, Professor Rao Zongxuan, is displayed. There are still quite a lot of people to visit.

Rao Zongxuan of "Nanrao Beiji" was born in Chao'an Dafu House. Professor Rao has a wide range of academic fields, including Oracle, Dunhuang, Ancient Text, Ancient History, Near East Ancient History, Art History, Music, Ciology, etc., and has published 40 books and more than 300 academic papers. Art has been accomplished in painting and calligraphy. Rao Zongxu's "Tianxiaolou" collection of more than 100,000 volumes at his home, which was the most famous collection building in Guangdong at that time. For friends who love calligraphy and calligraphy, it is a blessing.

The Liyuan Rao Zongxu Academic Museum is located on the west side of Xiashuimen in the ancient city of Chaozhou, adjacent to Guangji Bridge. It is the first celebrity museum in China. It displays the life experience of the famous international Chinese master Professor Rao Zongxu and his outstanding achievements in academic research and artistic creation. Tickets are 8 yuan per person.

It is a memorial hall related to Rao Zongxu. The tickets are not expensive. The decoration inside is also antique.
