Zhangguying Village is located under Weidong, Bijia Mountain and Longxing Mountain, east of Yueyang, Hunan Province. It is located at the intersection of Yueyang Pingjiang and Siluo three counties and cities. It is the most complete ancient architectural community of Jiangnan residential houses in China to date. It is rumored to be during the Ming Dynasty. Zhang Guying, a Jiangxi native, traveled west along the Muyu Mountains to see the Zengshan Mountains, forming a basin, with a beautiful natural environment, and the idea of settling here was born.
