Zhanjiang Museum Review

Zhanjiang Museum was built and opened in 1960, and the name of the museum is Dong Biwu. The museum has six display rooms for local history, cultural relics display and temporary special exhibitions. It was named Zhanjiang Patriotism Education Base in 1995 and was awarded the title of "Excellent Patriotism Education Base of the National Cultural Relic System" by the State Administration of Cultural Relics.

Zhanjiang Museum shows the rise and fall of Zhanjiang from the new democratic war to the modernized Zhanjiang. I specially selected the Qingming Festival to come to the museum to feel the feelings of the revolutionary martyrs in the display. Zhanjiang Museum has a collection of tens of thousands of cultural relics, including many national-level cultural relics, such as stoneware, ceramics, bronze drums, canoees in the East Han Dynasty, female portraits of Kunlun in the Tang Dynasty, cultural relics in the struggle against the law. There are 6 exhibition rooms in the museum, which are basically displayed: Zhanjiang People's Anti-Law Struggle Exhibition, Ancient Copper Drum Exhibition, and Exhibition of Ceramics Boutique Exhibition. The struggle against the law is displayed with cultural relics, documents and auxiliary exhibits showing the struggle process of the people of Suixi, Zhanjiang, against the French forced concession of Guangzhou Bay in 1898.
