Zhaowang City Ruins Review

Those who want to see the real ruins come here, without those fancy pseudo-historical monuments, and purely show the ruins. Intuitively know how big the city is, how wide and how high the city wall is. Inside, it is purely by walking, 1.5x1.5km city, the parking lot is in the west, walk in from the modern architectural area, 5km walk.

When I came to Shanghai, I went to Zhaowangcheng Ruins Park in order to find monuments. From the navigation and bus, they were all led to the main entrance of the park. Obviously, this main entrance is not open due to the epidemic or management reasons, but there is no sign or notice indicating which door to come from and how to get in. It seems that there are no tourists in the park. I really don't know if I can't open the door? Finally, I guess there must be a side door to go in the distance. Straight along the central axis of the main entrance is a stone carving avenue that records the history of Zhao. It is arranged according to the year and uses the Zhao language of the year. At the end of the avenue, it is the Zhaowangcheng Site Museum. The guess is also because of the epidemic, the museum is not open, and there is also no explanation for the notice. I feel that there is nothing to see, I can only say that I have been punched in as a tourist attraction.

The site of Zhaowangcheng in Handan City is the only site of the Wangcheng in the Warring States period in China, which is the only site of the most intact and largest scale. It also echoes Rome and Athens in the western cities of the same period, representing a typical model of the city in the classical era of the East. It is of great historical and cultural value and is listed as a key cultural relics protection unit in the country.

From the place where I lived, this is the site of the city wall of Zhaoguo. It has invested several hundred million yuan to develop a park surrounded by green mountains and green waters.
