A simple and quiet place, without commercialization, keeps its original architectural image and is worth visiting.

The oldest mosque in Tunis and whether you are muslim or not this a place that should be visited. The building is beautiful. The courtyard is impressive and the tower looks imposing. When not being used for prayer the door to the mosque is open but with an attendant in charge so that tourists cannot just wander in. But if you are pleasant to him and offer a donation he will use your camera to take some photos inside. This is a very historical building and really worth a visit

The Republic of Tunisia (The Republic of Tunisia, la Répubique Tunisienne, Arabic: الجمهورية التونسية‎), referred to as Tunisia[1], is located at the northernmost end of the African continent, facing the Mediterranean Sea in the north and east, across the Tunisian Strait and Sicily in Italy, which is the main point of the Mediterranean east-west shipping, and the southeast is adjacent to Libya. The west is bordered by Algeria, the capital, Tunisia, with a land area of 16.2 10,000 square kilometers and a population of 11.9 million (2021), more than 90% are Arabs, and the rest are Berbers. The country is divided into 24 provinces.

This is a small town with a comparatively long view, but the original scene is still worth visiting.
