Bacchus Review

Nice restaurant This is a very strange and beautiful restaurant. We stumbled upon it. Everyone loved it. Mellow wine and perfect dishes. I ordered a delicious mussel cream fish soup!! Dessert was also very tempting and I chose cheesecake. Very friendly and welcoming staff, highly recommend it to everyone!

Although this restaurant is not Michelin-level, the dishes are very delicious, the beef inside is very good, is the best beef in New Zealand, the oysters inside are very fresh and taste first-class.

Great afternoon, Would have preferred our teas and coffee to have been brought out before the food. There was a long delay between receiving our food and the arrival of our drinks.

Unique local food, comfortable environment, moderate price

We had high tea at Bacchus on a Sunday afternoon. The food is nice, nothing really special though, would be nicer if there is something unique in taste and shape (I would recommend Palette in Gold Coast HOTA if you are looking for something extraordinary). The tea itself is good quality, bottomless and you can choose coffee or juices otherwise which is flexile and accommodating. Price is very reasonable for what we get. It is just a bit let down by the services. The service is not bad just a few awkward moments such as asking us for takeaway boxes while we are still clearly chatting and enjoying ourselves. And it would be much nicer to talk to us before suddenly placing the bill in the middle of our table. It just not something I would expect from a top end restaurant. But overall it is a nice high tea.

Exceptional value for money (we booked the high tea) which come with bottomless tea and coffee. We are delighted with our experience
