I had a friend coming over and wanted to take him to a restaurant with outdoor sitting and nice ambience. Capana nuova is part dubai marine beach resort which has many happening restaurants. We reserved a table next to the seafront. Overall ambience was great. The food was good .We ordered ceasar salad, lamb cops which was tender and well cooked. The pasta was average. The liquor menu was limited. Overall it is an expensive place but worth for the ambience offered.

Very ambitious Italian menu with good variation of dishes. Excellent starters, as mushroom soup, scallops on Buffalo mozzarella. Main course as lambchops or gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce or risotto with Scampi or pasta with seafood. All of the above dishes looked great, see pictures. All of these dishes tasted just excellent, nice complimentary with breadbasket served twice. Great service with friendly attentive personell. Been there before and will come back again.
