Maxing Stuberl Review

Maxing Stuberl, this is a well-known local western restaurant, mainly German style cuisine, their elbow is really too delicious, other dishes are quite good.

A local home-cooked restaurant that is delicious. The restaurant is not big. The decoration and the feeling of home are very fragrant. The sauce ribs inside are delicious. The fried fish is also very distinctive and worth recommending.

By chance, I passed an alley. The old house looked very old. There were also many people in line. I took a look at the steak. The dim light was quite sensational. The quality of the steak was quite good and not expensive.

We went here after a concert at the Palace on Christmas eve not having been here before but had read good reviews on this site. I had pork with bread dumplings and my wife had goulash, they were hearty portions and for me the taste was amazing, proper home cooked food that I had hoped for in Vienna. The lady who served us was very friendly and helpful. The place is very rustic but all the better for it. We can't praise this place enough.

We went here based on the reviews on this site as it was near to our hotel. I wanted something traditionally Austrian and thought this was it. We walked into a completely smoke filled room - which we just aren't used to anymore. We should have walked straight out - but we didn't want to be rude. We were then taken through to the non smoking area - which was better for us... but could have been really close to the smoking area still. My family were not impressed with my choice! the food was ok - but from sitting down till leaving we were bugged by little flies..... it actually became a joke as we watched other people come in - sit down and then start squatting flies away - tactfully at first - and then without shame - just trying to eat a meal in peace. We couldn't wait to leave. It was such a shame - we had high hopes for something lovely - but this was not it.
