We had our team dinner here one of the days and this place was good. Especially for large business dinners. The had a separate area just for us which made it easy to connect with everyone. Food was served throughout the evening and they also took care of the vegetarians.

Apparently they catered for vegans but I was served a meal that I'd expect in a country pub if I told them at the last minute and they had to create something for me. This place was given plenty of warning (at least two weeks) that they had to cater for a vegan. Firstly I was told they could do the salad as the entree and a risotto as main which I thought sounded fair. They would have to check if the sorbet was vegan. Never got back to me but also suggested a plate of fruit. It is 2016 and vegans have moved along since a plate of fruit was a dessert option! Do your research before you ask. The beetroot salad was quite nice. I quite liked it with the pomegranate seeds through it. The risotto was a disaster and I'm not a fussy eater. Anyway I couldn't eat the cherry tomatoes as they tasted off. The risotto was bland. It really was something I'd think they'd come up with at the last minute. I left. I was also seated near the door with all the smokers. Not the fault of the restaurant as I don't know where else they could have put a large group, just unfortunate for me! Apparently they gave me some vegan sorbet after I left and my colleagues ate it and said it was nice. I certainly wouldn't be back or recommending it to others.
