Le Bistrot Review

I use this place as a good reference point for meeting young people in Phnom Penh. Food is Good, Service is very good. Parking is a bit hectic especially in the evening.

I love the setting, adjacent to a garden. Le Bistrot serves a light breakfast, light lunch, and dinner. It is open air but covered. There is also a full-service restaurant with air conditioning. I often have a sandwich or a glass of wine at Le Bistrot before visiting the library, art gallery, or catching a movie upstairs. The IFC is one of my favorite places to hang out in Phnom Penh.

We aren't French which is probably the first mistake but the menu is both English and French. The vegetarian sandwich option wasn't available but because there wasn't much else to order, the lady had it prepared for us which was good. We also wanted the breakfast, which is tea, fresh fruit and a croissant but was told no and that it was finished. It's just fruit and bread, and the menu was on the table. Either take the menus away or serve it. All in all ok, wouldn't go back though, we just felt like a pain. It's a good place for just a coffee I suspect. Merci.
