Joyrs Restaurant Review

Tucked in a side turning off Fahidi Street, this little place is very clean, the outside seating is pleasant, the menu is extensive, the manager is exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the prices are modest. Very suitable for couples or families who wouldn't like the many male-dominated mid/low range eateries in that area.

We stumbled upon this restaurant during our stop over in Dubai. Not a fancy place but clean and very reasonably priced. We had butter chicken masalla with nan bread and salad and a mutton byriani and fresh lemon and lime drink. Very tasty and filling. I didn't need rice as there was loads of byriani rice. Cost AED 60 or £12. In our hotel it would have cost AED 120+.

We stopped for a light lunch during our Dubai city tour and were disappointed with the meal. We ordered Chiken Tikka and were assured that it was boneless, however when it arrived it was all boneless thigh meat. It was tough in parts with gristle. Taste was great but would have been better with breast meat. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
