Start a fantastic journey from Los Angeles to Kona Airport in Hawaii. Day1-2 stay in Kona, Day3-4 go to Hilo. Day5 returns Kona from Hilo and then return by plane. Kona is very different from Hilo. Kona's weather is sunny every day, while Hilo is cloudy and sometimes rains suddenly. At Kona's H hotel, we chose to stay at Hilton Hilton Waikoloa Village. Overall, this hotel can be divided into three major areas. The most cost-effective is Kingsland, the closest to the parking lot, all facilities and restaurants are complete, and the dolphin area is also here. Highly recommend staying here! Palace Tower is the highest end, Ocean Tower is not recommended. In Kona, you can try some net red food, such as the poke of Da Poke Shack. At KTA supermarket and ABC merchandise store, you can buy hello kitty with souvenirs and tans. If you like adventure, try skydiving.Big Island Gravity Skydiving is the only skydiving company on the island, and the cost includes a video, which is $375/person. Snorkeling is also a good choice. Captain Cook Snorkeling snorkeling experience, the cost includes meals, water, equipment, a total of $138/person. In Hilo, we chose to live in airbnb, and three people totaled about $250/night. Hilo Bazaar has a lot of tropical fruits, but I think the taste is average. Tropical Botanical Garden Hawai'i Tropical Bioreserve & Garden is also a place worth visiting. At Mauna Kea, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the sunset of the sea of clouds. Waipi'o Black Sand Beach and Punalu'u Beach are two recommended places for black beaches. We drove back to Kona from below the island on the last day so went to Punalu'u and saw the turtles. Unfortunately this time we didn’t go to the volcano as there were no signs of eruption in those days. Overall if you like to go to a less modern island, get closer to nature and get involved Some adventures, the Big Island is a great choice! #WinterRoaming Guide
