Saw the place on DDD. I had the hot pastrami and roast beef sub. It was awesome. It was huge. My wife had the hot meatball and sausage sub. She loved it. We were both stuffed when we left. The subs are messy so be aware. A must go to place if your in LA.

This fast food restaurant is a bit similar to our Subway. You can choose different flavors of bread. As the main material of the sandwich. Then add different sandwiches. Those who like to eat meat can choose ham.

If you don't accept it, you will have coveted three feet as soon as you serve it, which is the price is higher, but it is worth it!

We stopped by here on way to Dodger Game at Dodger Stadium (about 1 mile away). I had the sausage and meatball sub and my son had the pastrami with marinara sauce. They were delicious. On Tuesday and Thursday's they have lasagna and pasta available. We'll need to go back and try. They have about a dozen tables inside with large tv on wall. The staff was friendly. Street parking only. You will need to use your GPS to find this gem in the middle of residential neighborhood.

This is an old time Italian deli with indoor tables to eat at. I stop here when I am in Los Angeles because I love their sandwiches. They also have hot plates of food. I think every police officer and firefighter in the city eats lunch here, so do not worry about feeling secure. It can get crowded, but they serve it right up from the deli counter so it does go quickly, do not let a long line of people fool you. It is top notch food.

Let's get one thing straight: The Eastside Market is not the place to go for a quart of milk, a dozen eggs or a loaf of bread. Maybe back in 1929 when the market opened one could find grocery market things here, but not no more. Serious sandwich eating goes on here. The menu is so full of ultra-rich food, it might be the place where your blood sugar level and/or your cholesterol count goes into orbit. The food is unashamedly delicious. The place is always full of Los Angeles Fire Department personnel who can help if your eyes are bigger than your stomach. LAPD, folks from the nearby courts and county jail make for a colorful crowd. The ambiance is absolutely spartan which gives the Eastside Market a lot of its charm. I especially like coming here when the weather is a little cool. If the neighborhood looks a little daunting, don't worry. There are always lots of law enforcement officers eating here, especially the ones who are trying to not look like cops. Manga bene!
