We had dinner at En Pluche with friends, its name indicates very comfortable chairs of 'pluch'. We could choose from a Land or a Sea 3 course dinner, without dessert. I like this very much as I am used to skipping dessert. As a starter I had a wonderful calf's tartare and the others had a ceviche, a Peruvian dish with fish, coriander and lime. The ceviche was great according to those who had this. In fact all dishes were really very good, personally I liked the slowly cooked beef / steak dish best. Also the wines were great, we could choose from many wines by the glass: we choose a pinot grigio, a gruner veltliner and a grenache blanc for those that chose the Sea menu, and I chose a delicious Dornfelder (based on a grape variety that belongs to the Pinot Noir family, a spicy variation). Also the service was excellent and very attentive. Overall a very enjoyable experience and a very good price / quality ratio for Amsterdam.
