L’Osteria Di Giovanni Review

I am willing to recommend L'Osteria Di Giovanni in 140 words. I got a small glass of champagne when I waited for the table, waited a while and then was taken to the underground wine cellar. Red wine with fried ghosts, unexpected delicious combination! T bone stew is excellent, the outer layer is cooked and burnt, and the inner layer still maintains a certain degree of rawness and tenderness! Tiramisu is the cream and moist lower layer cake I want, and the enthusiastic locals next door sent a glass of red wine, Florence is a perfect ending! ​

The steak is hot and tastes very good, and there is also lobster pasta. There is half a lobster inside. The price is about 20 euros. As a prime location, truffle cuisine, the taste is very good. After these characteristics are added, the per capita 20-30 euros can be eaten in the restaurant of the meal. It is very good. Other restaurants either double the same price, or the price is the same taste or the amount is small. However, remind everyone that you have to make an appointment. There is no place to make an appointment. If you wait, you have to wait for1-2 hours.

I read about this restaurant in a guide book so I booked it for our anniversary dinner while in Florence. The staff was so friendly and attentive and helped us with recommendations. The food was delicious! We had the sausage and kale pici for a pasta and for main dishes we chose the sea bass and osso buco. All were so good. For dessert the waiter highly recommended the special, a lemon cake. We ordered that and the tiramisu and were not disappointed. The lemon cake was the best we have had, so delicious. They made it a very special meal and we will go back there next time we are in Florence.

Absolutely loved it here. Kind waitstaff. We ate family style and they divided up most of our meals into 4 plates and coursed it out as to not all come at once. Enjoyed all of the food. The veal osso buco is a must!

Great restaurant . We in fact came back twice while in Florence. Food is delicious. Recommend the baby pork . Never had a pork dish this good . They bring a lemon sorbet to everyone after dinner in addition to very good homemade biscotti. Also have very attentive waiters.

Our server was charming, the food inventive, fresh and delicious. The decor is lovely, the pace of the meal relaxed. Excellent music, great little fried appetizers, yummy desserts. Tagliatelle with truffles memorable!

Honestly, the food was so good. Service was excellent. Price was very reasonable. We had a great time and enjoyed a delicious meal. I recommend the lamb chop special, potato ravioli with truffles and mushrooms, the sea bass and tiramisu. Delicious!
