Lunch for 4, at total cost of E48. Taken in the cellar downstairs - pay at cashier without taking a number, and head downstairs. Price includes a generous bottle of water per person, wine is extra. Staff were friendly, but The seating area is small and the buffet choices laid out on a small table at the rear - included are salads, pasta, bread, meat, and desserts. Customer turnover was relatively fast. I think a good choice for those who wish to try a variety of food, but we were really full when we left. Greed will always show...

If a café is bustling and full of locals, it’s usually a good sign, and this proved correct. Excellent café with a modern twist for a good fresh pastry (croissants and various choices) and coffee, either sit down with good wi fi, sitting at side bar or standing with the locals. Prices good, especially for Siena and cheaper than around the corner in the Piazza. They also do lunch of various salads and meat dishes (eat in or take away) or you can eat a buffet in the small restaurant downstairs for 12 euros, including water. Highly recommended.

We stopped here late afternoon for a couple of drinks. All were very reasonably priced with cocktails such as Aperol spritz or negroni at only €4. There was also a delightful range of meats, cheeses and pre-prepared pasta and meat dishes, which many of the locals were buying to take home to heat up. A great little place, well worth a visit.

Lunch is an experience in Tuscan food and the Apertif time is an even better experience. Just go and enjoy.
