I've been there after work with my workmates on a Friday afternoon. The pub is large and spacious, with several tables and chairs to accommodate groups of different sizes. I found it in some corners to be a bit dark but that may suit some guests for more privacy. One thing that I didn't like was when I have ordered a drink as it was only a non-alcoholic drink, the staff member did in a big rush, not presenting me the options and not collecting my order clearly. I felt like I was wasting his time with such a drink when he had are more important customers ready to order alcoholic drinks. Other than this little order & serving issue, everything went well in there and we all had a good time.



Poor service on both the bar and the kitchen sides. The bar staff didn't want to serve when there wasn't anyone there. Tried order a beer and was asked 'large or small' glass. They have not the standard pint or schooner, the staff wouldn't even tell you to order food separately at the kitchen counter until you asked.Ordered food at the kitchen counter was easy, however the dishes were very disappointing. Only the garlic bread was good. Fish and chips deep fired Chicken wings, and chicken parmigiana were Soggy, and Luke warm. Ordered chicken wings and got chicken drums instead, absolutely tasteless unfortunately.The 2 stars are for the garlic bread and outdoor seating.

Great pub , service is good , the food is great and one of the best beer gardens around . You are walking into history it's one of the oldest pubs around and it has a charm about it ... It has a area where the kids can play and you can sit back have a drink and a good meal and watch the footy...

This pub was good for a family meal and the quality was as you expect from your average pub meal...the pricing is up the higher end for no table service and pretty dated venue. However overall would go again as good outdoor area for the kids and all in all we enjoyed the afternoon.
