Osteria Pizzeria Il Vicolo Review

We went here because we stumbled on it, we were hungry and the prices seemed reasonable. However upon entering the restaurant and sitting down the staff completely ignored us. We couldn't even elicit an acknowledgement from the waiter who walked right past us no fewer than three times as we waited patiently and quietly. The restaurant wasn't busy and the staff were pretty much standing around. We got up and left after a few minutes. It was quite embarrassing to be treated this way. Trying not to be angry and irritated is hard but we strode out in a calm and dignified manner. I surveyed people's meals on my way out and got the impression from the glum faces and unappetising looking food that we didn't miss much. Keep your dignity intact and try somewhere else.
