My wife works about a block from The Harp And Celt and I met her here for lunch when I got back in town from a job. She had mentioned it in phone calls and I love Irish pubs so I had thought of it for a month. We each got a bowl of soup that was a dream. I had Potato and Leek and she had Crab and Shrimp Chowder. Both were excellent and very rich. Bread and butter comes with each plate and the bread is very fresh. We also ordered a Corned Beef Sandwich to split. It was made very well on toasted bread and tasted great with the spicy Coleman's mustard. The problem we discovered was that the soup was far too rich for us to try to eat the sandwich and remain awake. This was a great lunch and our downfall was it was too good. We should've ordered a cup or left the sandwich for another visit. Tiffany was our waitress and she was excellent and handles a fairly full house very well. This was my first visit and it will not be my last.
