The Waterside Hotel Review

Seriously don't bother! Went for a steak, cheap eats said it was steak night, also said it was pretty good, get on a tram and a little walk as I arrive it's a cool little pub. Went to the counter to order and the person serving gave me the distinct impression she didn't care for me or my question as to steak night! Gave a bit of a shrug and suggest I look at the specials board - very boring and no $15 steak. Oh well I will just order the $29 one. Comes out looks ok except for that hipster basket of chips. First mouthful of the steak and I am disappointed, sure it was cooked the way I wanted but it was tough and had it not been seasoned well bland b grade piece of meat! And you charged me nearly 30 bucks for this. My advice would be find somewhere else. There is much better value out there and I am sure much better meat.
