Tutto Italiano Restaurant Review

This place is charming and unique! I love coming here and wish I came more often every time I'm here!! I had the salmon with bruschetta tomatoes and avocado. I loved it. Has a bit of a spice to it so if u don't like spice try something else. My husband had a shrimp pasta. The shrimp was huge and fresh!! The kids loved the cheese pizza. It was my birthday and they brought me out the best tiramisu I've had in a long time! It's so easy to get a last minute table here on Fri and Sat nights!! Come the little bar is great too!!! Sit in the train car..it's adorable!!! Romantic!!

Tutto Italiano appeals to the business lunch crowd downtown. That means that in the evening they are very under patronized. This is a shame, because the food is excellent! It's a little difficult to get to, and I don't know if there's parking anywhere nearby, but since we live in the South Loop it doesn't make any difference. We've usually gone on a Groupon, as the restaurant has to sell them to keep open for dinner (at least that's what I think.) But, the service is excellent, the food good, and it's worth a visit. Tonight my husband and one friend ordered the seafood risotto and said it was very good. I had the fish special (mahi) and it was superb! The fourth in our group was dieting and had the salad, but said even the salad was good. So, we'll be back.
