House of the Black Heads

The Riga Blackhead Palace is a beautiful building, but unfortunately bombed by the Germans during World War II, and the current architectural theme is restored in the 1990s. It was very nice when night fell, but because of the high latitude, it was dark late in summer, and if you want to see the dark palace in June and July, it will be almost eleven o'clock in the evening. This exquisite Gothic building, which combines the appearance of the Dutch Renaissance, is brightly colored and beautifully decorated. The municipal square in front of the Blackhead Palace was built at the same time as the Blackhead Palace 

The Blackhead Palace is the most famous building in Riga Old Town. It is located in the town hall square of Riga Old Town. It was built in 1334 and is a baroque building. It belongs to the Blackhead Brotherhood organized by unmarried German merchants in Riga. It is one of the best buildings in Riga. It is now the office of the President of the Republic of Latvia.

At Christmas, a huge Christmas tree was erected in front of the square. Because the day was short, dark and dark, the lights were always on, and the effect of taking pictures during the day was better than at night.
