This is one of a new (?) restaurant chain, and a clever idea: a Sicilian restaurant. I mean REALLY Sicilian: the food, the wines, the waiters, the decor - probably even the tiles used in the bathrooms are from Sicily. An exuberant, warm hospitality, a palpable pride in the Sicilian culinary traditions, an eagerness to show them off. We had a large company, and thsu had the opportunity to sample many of the typical Sicilian dishes, from the caponata (an eggplant-based stew) to the cannoli (a ricotta-filled dessert, and apparently, it is to die for - but, at the end of a "grande abbuffata", I chose life. I will die another day). Everything was well prepared, and all the seafood was really very fresh, the wine selection was good - at least there were several interesting and affordable wines. The waiters' good cheer would make this a fine experience even with mediocre food - but this was way more. Warmly recommended.
