[European Honeymoon Free Tour 2016.03] When I came to Rome, I planned to stay short, so except for the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain, which I must visit in my plan, everything else can be regarded as a random accident. 2016-03-15 This afternoon, after watching the Colosseum, I walked all the way and came here unknowingly. I saw this white building, which was very imposing. LG told me that it's a government agency, and I didn't think much about it. It felt like it looks like oh, so just keep taking some photos of its appearance.
Later, I learned that it was originally called the "Rome Vittoriano Italy Unification Memorial (Ⅱ Vittoriano)", also known as the Victor Emmanuel II Memorial, located in Rome’s largest Venice square (Piazza Venezia). )on. At the same time, it also has a name called: Victor Emmanuel Museum Complex. It turned out that the Victor Emmanuel II Memorial has the Vittoriano Museum, so it has such a name. Oops, it turns out that we missed seeing this museum, and when we came to the door, it was already past 5 in the afternoon, and the museum should have closed. But it's not a pity, because we don't spend much time in Rome, and we tend to like to walk slowly in its streets, so taking pictures of the surrounding buildings while walking is our preferred way of traveling.
Fortunately, we saw the overall shape of this majestic building that integrates a memorial hall and a museum.
The museum is free, and there is a charge for climbing to the top of the memorial hall.
Regarding its history and introduction text, I won't import the information. If you are interested, you can check it by yourself. Next time I go to Rome, I will definitely go to learn more about it again.
